Y strainer filters are designed to filter out any unwanted particles or dirt and trap it within the removable Y part of the filter.

Suitable Applications

These Y brass strainer filters are suitable for a wide range of liquids and can be used with clean oil, diesel, HVO, waste oil and water. The removable mesh ensures that any liquid passing through is clean and free from any debris or large particles

How to use a Y Strainer

Brass strainer filters are designed to be fitted in various different methods, the most common use for these fittings are as an inline filter, meaning they can be fitted on the suction line or delivery line. They can also be fitted directly to the outlet of tanks. 

Different Sizes Available 

Most diesel and oil applications would require 1″ fittings, but sometimes larger strainers are required for higher flow. Choose the 2″ y strainer filter for larger flow applications such as high flow pumps, water supply for sprayers or other large scale commercial use
